Classic stories made the bench in London

Fifty bench designed by the artists and writers that seem like open books sheets were placed in various places in London cartoonist Ralph Steadman and author of How To Train Your Dragon, Cressida Cowell, including those that took part.

The idea was launched by the National Literacy Trust or the National Literacy Agency United Kingdom to celebrate the culture of reading"I am so pleased to have designed the bench book How to Train Your Dragon and become part of the campaign Books about Town (Book in the city) who held the National Literacy Trust to celebrate so much talent wrote and illustrated in the United Kingdom," said Cowell, who also makes his own illustrations for his books.


Classic literature ranging from Peter Pan up to The Day of the Triffids is now celebrated in a series of benches and colourful picture. London uk

James Bond
James Bond is a fictional character in the book readings for adults to be found on a bench in London.

The characters in classic stories like Sherlock Holmes, James Bond, Mary Poppins and Hercules Poirot is also manifested in the bleachers.

Benches will be auctioned on October 7, in order to raise funds for the National Literacy Trust to hold activities for the eradication of illiteracy in a marginalized community in all parts of the United Kingdom
