The Tower of London, a castle full of Spooky Stories

When I write down a visit to Tower Bridge, known as London Bridge called the existence of an old Castle. Yes this is one of the tourist destination when visiting London. The name of the Castle or rather Fortress high bermenara now known as the Tower of London.

Its like the forts of the old Kings are indeed very classic. There is a fortress in the corner round, reminding will film such as Robin Hood in which a round building that Fort. At the top there are the sidelines for guards and around it there is a window. Consider again surely many people will remember the classic films days of Empire in Europe.

Tower of London still looks solid though already a century more of his age

The old building that may have been one of the century are still preserved and maintained and guarded so as not to lose the current modernization. The Fort is also a lot of tells its visitors about the spooky tales, horrifying and heartbreaking and cruel actions of United Kingdom first.

In the stories, spoken in a visit to the fortress appears the horrors in which the Kings were not as depicted in fairy tales, beautiful and memorable. The story actually, today, tomorrow is the day before the Queen could have his head cut off because losing the competition or because the King was jealous.

The story most widely known in the United Kingdom is a contraction of Queen Anne Boleyn, Queen of England (1507-1536). Anne Boleyn herself was the second wife of King Henry VIII. He divorced his wife Katherine of Aragon, broke with Rome and excommunicated because love Anne. But the Kings got a power base, heats her love goes out to Anne and then fell in love with Jane Seymour.

Queen Elizabeth I is said to have also never had become a prisoner in the Tower

As a result even accused of subversion, Anne is having an affair and intimate with fellow minnows George Boleyn, Lord Rochford. The King then dropped a decision to former wife and Queen of the United Kingdom with capital punishment beheaded on May 19, 1536.

Time I pay a visit to the castle tour guides did a lot of becerita about anyone who has ever lived here. And anyone who was made prisoner and executed in this place. In other words, was impressed that the Tower of London as a prison and place of execution.

This can be understood because Henry VIII (1509-1547) who made his official residence residence broke with the Church of Rome until he became the leader of kerjaaan and religious leader who is now an Anglican Church.

Tower of London seemed still sturdy, dark history witness Kings in the United Kingdom

If sorted anyone serving pancung at this place from the Royal family of William Hastings, 13 June 1483, Boleyn May 19, 1536, Margaret Pole, Countess of Salisbury may 27, 1541, Catherine Howard February 13 1542, Jane Boleyn, Viscountess Rochford February 13 1542, Lady Jane Grey, Queen of England (1537 1554) beheaded 12 February 1554 Robert Devereux, 2nd Earl of Essex 25 February 1601.

I can't imagine in the span of a century so fierce competition going on between members of the kingdoms and rulers at that time so that an award to imprisoned and beheaded, something so taboo in the United Kingdom at this time.

Not only beheaded, the Tower of London is indeed notable as an elite prison time. They killed not only because of the tortured but also burned and sunk. I see myself there are prison near the River Thames said most prisoners of dicemplungkan into the water to die. In addition to the name of the Royal family, there are other names such as Thomas Cromwel (1540), Sir Walter Raleigh, who was jailed for 13 years and then executed in 1618 and formerly King Baliol of Scotland (1296).

Even in the official Tower of London website mentioned also that a variety of literature about the Tower of London is filled with writing about prison and place of execution.

Even during World War I and II also became the location of the place of execution and prison. Between the years 1914 to 1916 some spies being arrested and then sentenced to death included Franz Buschmann.

The last execution in the Tower of London experienced person Germany Josef Jakobs in 1941 along with detention which lasted a minute against Deputy Hiter, Rudolf Hess.

The existence of guide and guard of the Tower of London was the appeal of this creepy Castle

Back to the history of the Tower of London, the first peletak this is Fort William the Conqueror (1066-1087). But Edward the Confessor died in 1066 without having the Crown Prince so that happens to scramble for the throne. Edward's cousin, Harold Godwinson became King directly but William, Duke of Normandy also claimed to have the right to dwell.

Then after it's establishment in peacetime, the Tower of London was reinforced and extended. Year 1350 the building became a strong fortress which can be seen in his footsteps until now.
